Zandile Ndebele is an admitted and registered legal practitioner of the High Court of Zimbabwe since July 2019. She commenced her career in legal practice and has worked at two leading law firms in the country prior to joining WTS Tax Matrix Assurance and Transfer Pricing departments. As a legal practitioner specialising in tax law, Zandile has experience in tax litigation and advisory. Zandile has in depth experience in transfer pricing, income tax, indirect taxes and customs having advised multinational entities and non-governmental organisations.

Areas of Expertise:

• Drafted court process and litigated matters in the Special Court of Income Tax and the Fiscal Appeal Courts against the Revenue Authority
• Advised on the tax implications of seismic operations it sought to carry out in Zimbabwe
• Advised on, among other tax matters, the tax implications of transfer of mining claims
• Double Tax Agreements for various countries especially with respect to technical fees and the concept of permanent establishments
• Transfer of shares and assets between companies
• Several aspects of VAT liability applicable to mining and farming entities
• Payment of withholding tax and levies in the tobacco industry
• Preparing transfer pricing documents
• Providing tax audit support and doing tax health checks
