Dr. Eriazeri Muguti, PhD, ACMA, CGMA, RTAcc(Z), AICTA, AZITA is the Manager of WTS Tax Matrix Academy, bringing to the role more than a decade of academic, professional, and advisory experience in taxation, accounting, and management.

Dr. Muguti holds a PhD in Accounting, a Master of Commerce in Accounting and a BSc (Hons) Accountancy degree. He is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA), as well as a Registered Tax Accountant in Zimbabwe [RTAcc(Z)] under the Public Accountants and Auditors Board. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Tax Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICTAZ) and the Zimbabwe Institute of Tax Accountants (ZITA). He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Taxation from the Institute of Chartered Tax Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICTAZ) and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Higher Education and Training from Chinhoyi University of Technology. He is also a candidate for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ)’s Final Qualifying Exam (APC) and an ADIT student.

With extensive professional expertise, Dr. Muguti has served as a Senior Tax Consultant at KPMG Zimbabwe, where he advised on corporate tax, transfer pricing, global mobility taxation, and ZIMRA audit engagement, in addition to external audit support and internal audit engagements. He also led tax compliance, tax health checks, and due diligence exercises for large corporates. In addition, he has worked as a Senior Consultant and Auditor at JACMUG Business Solutions, providing tax planning, financial advisory, internal audit, and compliance services across a broad client base.

Beyond consultancy, Dr. Muguti is a seasoned academic and thought leader. He has over 10 years of lecturing and research supervision experience, having taught at institutions including Chinhoyi University of Technology, Africa University, and Midlands State University. His teaching areas span advanced taxation, financial reporting, management accounting, auditing, financial management, and tax investigations. He has successfully supervised research at Honours, Masters, MPhil, and PhD levels, and examined postgraduate theses. His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he continues to contribute to the academic community as a reviewer and mentor. He has also served as a programs reviewer for ZIMCHE.

Dr. Muguti’s leadership experience includes serving as Operations Manager & Head of Tax at Accounts on Call Institute (an ICAZ-accredited CTA provider), where he directed academic operations, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. He is also a licensed ZIMRA Tax Agent, a certified TESOL/TEFL instructor, and a trainer and mentor of aspiring chartered accountants and tax professionals.

At WTS Tax Matrix Academy, Dr. Muguti drives the Academy’s mission of building technical competence and professional excellence in taxation, accounting, and business advisory in Zimbabwe and across Africa. He is passionate about bridging academia, professional practice, and industry, and about mentoring the next generation of tax leaders.
